Our Process for Custom Designs

How it works

At The Gilded Carat, creating your jewelry is a personal, collaborative journey. From inspiration to heirloom, we’re with you at every step.

1. Reach Out

Message on TikTok, Instagram or email us at TheGildedCarat@proton.me to begin your free customization process. We will establish communication and discuss options.

2. Inspiration Sharing

Send us your inspiration photos, sketches, or ideas. Together, we’ll explore your vision—whether it’s timeless, symbolic, or uniquely your own.

3. Stone Selection

We’ll discuss center stone options, pairing ethically grown diamonds with your design inspiration. (If you have a diamond or center stone you would like to use, we can set that for you!)

4. Your First CAD

You’ll receive your first CAD render. This lets you see your design before it’s ever made.

5. Refinements

We’ll make edits and adjustments based on your feedback until your design is a true reflection of your story.

6. Approval & Payment

Once you approve the CAD, we’ll send you a secure link for payment to move your design into production.

7. Crafted With Care

Our jewelers bring your design to life in 2-3 weeks

8. Completion

When your piece is complete, we’ll ship out via FedEx or UPS.

9. Delivery

Your modern heirloom is shipped via FedEx or UPS, Signature Required to ensure it arrives safely in your hands.
